Accessible holidays
Designed with respite care at the forefront of our mind
The hotel is affiliated to the Seren charity and was designed with ‘respite’ care at the forefront of our mind as a safe space allowing you to relax in a friendly atmosphere. Therefore, access points, rooms and facilities cater to a wide variety of accessibility needs to maintain guests’ independence as much as possible.
With our experience in this area (both as a provider and also a customer arranging holidays for our own groups of individuals), we know the challenges faced when trying to find somewhere suitable. We’ve taken our experience and turned it on its head to ensure that we cater to most needs and ages, be they learning and/or a physical disability or mental health needs, requiring full support or a light touch. Our holiday experience offers a 5-star quality care!
We know that holiday breaks are a personal thing – some individuals want to pack as much in as possible, whilst others just want to have a relaxing get away … and we can help with that!
We know that some parents want to maintain regular contact and be involved in the holiday experience via photos and daily diary reports, whilst others don’t feel the need to know the finer details … and we can help with that too!
We value your independence and can support your accessibility needs at a low level or step in should you need the occasional helping hand during your stay with us.
Our trained and experienced care team can support a variety of specialist support and are happy to discuss your needs – our bespoke service is unique to you.
This service can also cater to individuals seeking temporary ‘enablement-style’, short term support. An ideal service when transitioning from hospital before returning home whilst you build up your strength and confidence in comfortable surroundings. We can offer you the added peace of mind of having care support if required by prior arrangement.
