Who doesn’t enjoy home-made biscuits and cakes? Our individuals prepare light and fresh sweet treats each day to welcome guests to their rooms.

Picnics and Packed Lunches

Why not try our choice of packed lunches? You can pre order and discuss any dietary needs ahead of time, allowing you to enjoy your day out – a very popular service for the walkers, mountaineers and bikers from among our guests.

As part of our sustainability campaign, it is important to us to source premium quality products as locally as possible.

We have developed partnership relationships with many excellent local suppliers who are all committed to selling quality products. We have worked hard to source suppliers as locally as possible to minimise food miles. Some of the core ingredients in our products, including our popular “Y Chwarelwr” (Quarryman’s) Full Breakfast have been mapped out below:-

Gerddi ‘Stiniog Gardens is also part of the charity and grows a variety of produce which we use as much as possible, including fruit, vegetables, herbs and garnishes – we have planted several heritage ranges of indigenous fruit trees which we can’t wait to start using in time.In support of our aim to source produce as locally as possible, the barista coffee beans have been roasted locally and our eco-friendly packaged tea, coffee and sugar is purchased from a company on the Llŷn Peninsula.We make as much home-made produce as possible, including jams, chutneys, pickles, sauces, biscuits and cakes, some of which are available to purchase from our shop.

Outside Catering

Our outside catering service is produced by hotel staff hand in hand with our experienced individuals who enjoy assisting in preparing and delivering orders.

We can also hire out crockery and cutlery as part of this service if required.

A choice of several different menus is available, or we can discuss bespoke packages, including for special dietary needs.

This service is available for corporate events, but also for smaller sized parties and celebrations. Why not spend your time entertaining and socialising stress free on those special, memorable occasions.

Wake Teas

The Hotel is surrounded by naturalised private land, a peaceful location to hold wake teas following bereavements and an opportunity to reflect on the life of a loved one amongst family and friends.

In the summer, the outside space is a popular destination space to gather, however full open or private use can be made of the Hotel’s public rooms depending on the size of the gathering.

Special food requests can be discussed or choose from our pre-prepared menu for the occasion.
